INTRODUCTION – WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

When you use Rentoodle as a visitor, renter or lessor, personal data is handed over. "Personal data" refers to any kind of information that can be directly or indirectly identified with a natural person.

Rentoodle is responsible for personal data for the data provided via, and processed at Rentoodle.com as well as via the Rentoodle.com mobile applications distributed via Google Play and the App Store.

GENERAL PROVISIONS REGARDING PERSONAL DATA

The general regulations for the processing of personal data apply to all of Rentoodle.

The general regulations mean that Rentoodle always processes personal data in accordance with current personal data legislation, with respect for personal integrity, all personal data processing rests on a legal basis.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

When using Rentoodle's website or mobile app, only information is collected that is used for statistical purposes and the visitor remains anonymous. Such information is the time of the visit, how long the visit lasted and which pages were visited. The user can also voluntarily submit their personal data to Rentoodle by registering an account.

If a consent is withdrawn, Rentoodle will not process the personal data further, nor will it update previously provided information. Personal data may be handed over to collaboration partners, for example to perform the tasks requested by the person concerned. Rentoodle takes technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data that is processed, so that the data is not lost, destroyed, manipulated or made available to unauthorized persons. The measures aim to achieve a level of security that is sufficiently high with regard to the technical possibilities that are available.

RIGHT TO INFORMATION AND CORRECTION

Everyone has the right, upon request, to find out to what extent information about their own person is processed by Rentoodle. If such personal data is held by Rentoodle, the person concerned receives, upon request, information about what personal data is being processed. Everyone has the right to request correction, blocking or deletion of personal data that is incorrect or that is processed in violation of applicable law. Rentoodle is then obliged to take such measures.

If there are changes in how Rentoodle handles personal data, it will be announced on this page. Procedures for treatment may, for example, change if the legislation changes.
