How does toy hire work on Rentoodle?
Pick the toy and the dates, then book. New hirers verify their identity once for £2 and pay nothing on top of the owner's price. The owner posts it by tracked delivery for your start date or arranges a local collection.
Are toys cleaned between hires?
Owners are expected to send items out clean and hirers to return them the same way. Listings are written by the families who own the toys, so message the owner before booking if you want to know how one has been stored.
What if a toy is broken or a piece goes missing?
Tell the owner as soon as you notice, and keep any parts. Hirers are liable for repair or replacement while an item is with them, missing pieces included. Every booking is also covered by the Lender Guarantee up to £30,000.
