Borrowers pay 0% in platform fees on top of the price the lender sets, plus a one-time £2 ID check when they first join. Delivery is tracked, local collection is available, and the default minimum hire is two days.

How does jewellery hire work on Rentoodle?
Choose the piece and the dates you need it, then book. New hirers complete a one-time identity check costing £2, and nothing is added on top of the lender's price. Most jewellery travels by tracked delivery timed to arrive on your start date, and local collection is offered by some lenders. You return it the same way by the end of the hire.
How are valuable pieces protected?
Two things sit behind every booking. Hirers are identity verified before they can book, so lenders know who has their piece, and the Lender Guarantee covers each booking up to £30,000 if an item is lost, damaged or not returned. Hirers remain responsible for the item while it is with them and are liable for repair or replacement.
Can I hire jewellery for a wedding?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people do. Book the dates around the wedding rather than the day itself, so a delivery delay or a change of plan does not leave you short. The default minimum hire is two days, which already covers most weekends. Message the lender early if you need the piece for photographs the day before.
