About vinyl & CD rental
Records are meant to be played, not stored. Rentoodle lets collectors across the UK lend out albums, box sets and CDs so other people can hear a pressing before tracking one down, or put together a night of music without buying all of it.

Vinyl & CD rental FAQs
How does vinyl and CD rental work on Rentoodle?
Choose the record or set and the dates, then book. New hirers complete a one-time £2 identity check and pay nothing on top of the lender's price. Records travel by tracked delivery for your start date, and some lenders offer local collection.
How should records be packed and posted back?
Carefully, and in the packaging they arrived in wherever possible. Records warp or scuff easily in transit, so keep the mailer, use the inner sleeve and post by a tracked service to arrive by the end date. Ask the lender if you are unsure.
What if a record is scratched or lost?
Tell the lender as soon as you can. Hirers are liable for repair or replacement while an item is with them, which for a rare pressing can matter a great deal. Every booking is covered by the Lender Guarantee up to £30,000.
