If your own pet has grown out of a crate, three quarters of each rental is yours when you lend it out and keeps it in use.
Crates and hutches are easier to collect in person, and smaller items come by tracked delivery. A crate only goes out to a hirer who has passed an identity check, and the Rentoodle Lender Guarantee covers each booking up to £30,000. What the owner charges is what a borrower pays, plus the one-time £2 identity check at sign-up. Hires start from two days unless the owner sets something different.

How does pet equipment hire work on Rentoodle?
Choose the item and the dates, then book. New hirers complete a one-time £2 identity check and pay nothing on top of the owner's price. The owner sends it by tracked delivery or arranges a local collection, which is easier for crates.
How is hygiene handled between hires?
Owners are expected to clean equipment before it goes out and hirers to return it clean. Listings are written by the pet owners themselves, so ask how an item has been cleaned and stored before you book. Say if your pet has been unwell.
What if equipment is damaged by my pet?
Tell the owner as soon as you notice. Hirers are responsible for items while they are in their possession and are liable for repair or replacement, chewed straps and bent bars included. Every booking is covered by the Lender Guarantee up to £30,000.
